What Happened

The coal post hunt took it's usual route albeit with a twist. The Grimesters had donned their supper heros outfits. Batman made 3 topical appearances (Monk, GuvNor and Munch) and Batman’s Batman was also there (Earl Grey). Two super men (GM and Gadget). Only Gricer turned up in cycling gear.

A furious pace was set by the GM and the miles flew by as one would expect with super heros. 29 coal posts later and we were soon at the Dukes Head for a full debriefing (Supermen). The positions of the Coal Posts have been included on the Google Earth map for reference purposes. The description of the position is also included in the placemarker if you click on the icon you will see the description. The quiz night at the pub was partially gate crashed and at 10:30 3 hungry riders decided to retire to Mr Alis for refuelling. That’s when the fun really started.

The GuvNor decided to order a Chicken Vindaloo and GM quickly jumped on the band wagon and put his name to a King Prawn Vindaloo. Not wishing to be left out Gadget uttered the infamous words it’s got to be done and ordered a lamb Vindaloo. A fiery meal was enjoyed by all washed down by copious amounts of larger. After more sweating than that endured during the ride the meal was completed and the riders made their way home.

Needless to say that’s not where the story ends. During a sleepless and disturbed night of intense indigestion the GuvNors analytical mind started working and the thought of recording the time to the hot and burning defecation was born. The 3 diners were asked to report back to the Guvnor any movements the riders had experienced and the date and time of the Indian Poos. I have included the communications in this report for completeness. The results are given at the end.

Dear fellow Vindalooers,

Please could you report the date and time of your ring burner dump. I would like to include a graph of the transit times in the report.

Many thanks The GuvNor (oops got to put a roll of Andrex in the freezer!)

Its Midday …. I have just been straining in the throne room on a blunt tawny torpedo and was not privy to the fact the seat was loose which made it a rougher ride than normal, all was well as I contemplated life’s doings and then came the afterburn and as I sit typing this two things have been scrawled on the shopping list, ice for freezer, air freshener.

Nothing to report yet, about 1 cm dilated. 3 crumpets administered orally to induce. Hoping it won't need a C section.

Fear is a dirty word. But when one contemplates the inevitability of the vindaloo revenge, fear of pain on the bog becomes a reality. So it came to pass that tears flowed at 20:18 this evening. Gentle dabbing did not relieve the agonizing peristaltic movements that have just befallen me. May God ensure that all traces of last nights offerings have been expelled from my body. The fear will not pass until I have passed my next movement!

After a 34 hour gestation, a painless birth eschewed. I'm wondering if there are yet unborn siblings. Perhaps Activia for the slower digestive transit.
